Right of withdrawal
This page explains how to exercise a right of withdrawal regarding an AtyKids subscription, and provides a model form to copy. It complements the General subscription and use terms (section 8).
1. Who is concerned
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, you may benefit from a 14-day withdrawal period from the date you subscribe, under the conditions set out by the applicable regulations.
AtyKids is a digital service (online software accessed through an account), not a simple downloadable file.
2. What we do not ask you to waive
AtyKids asks for no waiver of your right of withdrawal on your subscription: not at payment time, and not on this page. Nor do we pre-qualify your subscription as digital content excluded from the right of withdrawal. Your mandatory legal rights remain intact.
One exception, and it is limited to a single file. If your annual subscription opens the CANOPY ebook and you choose to receive it before the end of your period, we then ask for two separate agreements: your express request that supply begin right away, and your acknowledgement that you consequently lose your right of withdrawal for that book only. You may decline: once the 14-day period has passed, the book is obtained with no formality of that kind, and it stays reserved for you with no deadline.
3. Withdrawal, cancellation and refund are three different things
- Cancellation: it stops automatic renewal. Your access stays active until the end of the period already paid for, then ends. You can cancel at any time from your account (Stripe portal); this page is not needed for that.
- Withdrawal: a separate legal right, limited in time after you subscribe, described here.
- Commercial refund: apart from mandatory legal rights, the subscription gives no right to an automatic refund of periods already paid for. Each request is reviewed case by case.
4. How to exercise your right
Send an unambiguous statement to contact@atykids.com. You may copy the model form below. We acknowledge receipt of your request.
5. Model withdrawal form
Copy this into your email. Fill in only what you know: the "reference" and "subscription date" fields are optional.

Do not attach any unnecessary information. We need no child's name, no diagnosis, no medical information and no reason: withdrawal does not have to be justified.
